CETL - Kakkular

Central Electrical Testing Laboratory (CETL), Kakkalur is a State owned Electrical Testing Laboratory functioning under the control of Department of Industries and Commerce, Tamil Nadu since 1973.
CETL is accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), a constituent Board under the Quality Council of India as per ISO/IEC-17025-2017 and has been maintaining the same since 1998 as well as recognised by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India and maintaining the same since 1998.
CETL enable the customers to demonstrate that their products are compliant with National / Inter-national standards or regulations or with customer defined standards, through certification.
CETL is situated at Kakkalur, 42 km from Chennai on the Chennai- Tiruvallur High Road and 3 Km ahead of Tiruvallur.
MISSION STATEMENT CETL provides comprehensive testing services by maintaining the Quality System as per ISO/IEC-17025:2017 to demonstrate its competence, impartiality, judgement and operational integrity.
